Shaun manages the sector service at Infometrics. His expertise is also utilised throughout the business, including consulting projects, regional economic development and product conceptualisation.
He has experience working in the government and private sector and has spent the past decade working in a range of policy, advocacy, analytical and economic roles. These roles have primarily focused on regional and sectorial economic development as well as skill development and have helped build Shaun’s considerable expertise in workforce development.
At Infometrics, Shaun works with a wide range of clients including tertiary education providers, industry training organisations and industry associations. This work is largely focused around workforce development, looking at current and future workforce demands, and the supply of skilled labour.
Shaun enjoys getting to understand clients’ needs and defining the problem they are trying to address. He then develops solutions that help clients address the problems identified.
As well as being an Infometrics director, Shaun is also a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors. He is the chairperson of the Board of Trustees at Khandallah School and also a fixed-term observer on the board of the Wellington Regional Stadium Trust, a position gained through his appointment as the Institute of Directors Wellington Branch Emerging Director Awardee for 2019. Shaun is also on the advisory board for Tumeke Enterprises, which works with youth to build the next generation of leaders.
Shaun lives in Wellington with his wife and three children. When he is not thinking about work he can be found coaching rugby, running or being taxi driver to the kids.
