New look for the Infometrics site
Thu 17 Mar 2022 by Rob Heyes in Announcements

We’re making some changes to our website, and how clients and the public interact with our products and insights. This article sets out briefly some of the changes made in mid-March 2022.

We are currently transitioning to a new look website

Our whole site, and all our products, are currently being redeveloped. We are doing it in stages – so you may not notice any dramatic changes immediately.

The most striking change you will see from 17 March is that we have improved our site navigation to make it much easier for you to navigate between the products you subscribe to. We have also updated our company website and made some minor changes to the Quarterly Economic Monitor.

These changes only affect website styles and navigation – all of our content and data remain the same.

The new my Infometrics navigation bar

When you are logged in, the my Infometrics navigation bar will appear at the top of the page. This navigation bar gives you easy access to the products you subscribe to from any Infometrics web page. If you hover over a product type, you can choose a product from the menu that appears. The product will open in a new window.

Hovering over Insights will give you access to our latest articles, newsletters, webinars, and Econ Talks. Eventually the Portal Homepage will be discontinued. For now you can still access it through the Insights menu by hovering over Insights then choosing Portal home.

The my Infometrics navigation bar can only be seen by logged-in Infometrics clients. If you or any of your team can’t see the my Infometrics navigation bar, check in the top right of your screen to make sure you’re logged in.

Our refreshed company website

Our company website – at www.infometrics.co.nz – which offers information about our products, and our latest articles and videos, has been refreshed. It contains the same information but the design has been improved.

There are a few small extra features, such as making subscriber-only articles easier to access, and making it easier for users to access past newsletters. More features and improvement will come in the future.

Quarterly Economic Monitor colours

The Quarterly Economic Monitor (QEM) was the first product we redeveloped – you will notice the similarity in style with the new company website. This redevelopment changes some of the colours used in the QEM to improve the user experience and to make it consistent with the planned redesigns of our other products.
