Regional Construction Outlook
What is the Regional Construction Outlook?

Our Regional Construction Outlook (RCO) draws on our well-regarded national building forecasts to estimate construction activity within Regional Council Areas, Territorial Authorities and Auckland Wards.

The Regional Construction Outlook includes:

  • Historical and forecast residential, and non-residential consents and work put in place by building type
  • Forward looking commentary focusing on key regions
  • Ability to define and save customised regions that align with your business areas
  • Four forecast updates a year

The RCO is presented in an easy-to-use web-based interactive dashboard, so you don’t need to be a data expert to use it. Our web-based delivery means your whole team can work from the same data source and the information can be easily shared company wide. You can also download all the data to manipulate in software packages such as Excel.

How can the Regional Construction Outlook be used?

The Regional Construction Outlook is an invaluable resource for decision-makers and analysts who need to know the outlook for the construction sector across New Zealand’s regions. This includes construction companies, suppliers of building materials, local councils and providers of construction related training and education.
